Vito Nesta drew the inspiration for this porcelain dinnerware set from the fauna and richness of bright colors of the Amami archipelago, a group of islands located in the southwest part of Japan. Each plate has different fish swimming around the center and edges of the plates with a background recalling the depths of the ocean. As the designer says: “It is a hymn to summer and to the corral barriers that, like the Amami one, are disappearing”.
