TALISMAN flatware by CHRISTOFLE was designed in 1986 by Bernard Yot, inspired by the Art Deco style. Unlike any other collection, Talisman is a part of Christofle’s bespoke service. The collection is available in the color of your choosing. Choose from an amazing 45 different individual flatware pieces. Christofle begins the process by stamping the flatware in the chosen metal. After sandblasting, lacquer is applied in an 18-step process by hand. This tedious and careful process helps make Talisman solid and resistant. The flatware’s handles are coated with lacquer and then polished. The brightness of the design amplifies the saturation of the chosen color.

One of my favorite dinnerware sets ever is AUX OISEAUX by BERNARDAUD. The pattern is available in a full dinnerware set with scenes reminiscent of Japanese prints: birds depicted in autumnal colors perch on stylized trees in raised gold.
